Ingredients of Thai Rice with Chopped pork menu

  • 700g cooked rice
  • 400g chopped pork fillet
  • 1 onion
  • 200g chinese cabbages
  • 7 fresh red chilies
  • 1 tablespoon cloves garlic, finely chopped,
  • sugar
  • fish sauce
  • vinegar
  • vegetable oil
  • cassava flour
  • corianders


Preparation of Thai Rice with Chopped pork menu

  1. Peel the onion : halve lengthwise, then cut crosswise into pieces. Cut the red chilies into fine strips. The chinese cabbages are cut into short lengths and parboiled in boiling water. Lift out and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a moderate heat until it starts vapourizing. Stir-fry the garlic until golden. Put in the pork and stir-fry until briefly-cooked. Add the onions and a little water. When boiling, season to taste with the sugar, fish sauce and vinegar. Taste to flavour. Dissolve the cassava from the heat.
  3. Spoon the cooked rice onto individual serving plates. Arrange the chinese cabbages on the plates. Top the cooked rice with the chopped pork. Scatter with the red chili strips and corianders. Let's Serve.
