Ingredients for chilli paste

  • 3 dried chilies
  • 7 shallots
  • 2 garlic bulbs
  • 1 tsp. galangal
  • 1 tbsp. lemon grass
  • 4 pepper corns
  • 1 tsp. corainder root
  • 1 tsp. kaffir lime rind
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp.shrimp paste
  • 2 tbsp. ground dried shrimp
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce

Other Ingredients

  • 250 grams pork
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp. palm sugar
  • 200 grams string beans
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce


Preparation of Thai pork fried with Chillies ginger and String beans menu.

  1. Place chilli paste ingredients in mortar and pound until thoroughly ground and mixed.
  2. Wash pork , cut into long, thin slices, and marinate in 1 tsp. fish sauce.
  3. Wash string beans, cut into 1 inch lengths, boil until just cooked and remove from water.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan, fry the pork until done then remove the pork from the pan and set aside.
  5. Put the chilli paste in the pan and fry until fragrant then add the pork sugar fish sauce and string beans, Stir to mix . When done scoop up onto serving plate.
